Village Learning Place, December 14, 2025
Murray the Sheepadoodle here. We visited Village Learning Place Library in Baltimore, MD on our tour. The library is a fantastic place — it has lots of books, computers, reading nooks, and events. Families came to see us even though there had been a big snow and ice storm overnight. Since this was our very first story time, we were really excited to see how the kids pet me and engaged with the story. They found me in two of the busy pages in the book and then we talked about making friends.

Story Time at Northshire Booksellers, Saratoga Springs, NY
Murray the Sheepadoodle here. Northshire Bookstore (Saratoga Springs, NY) invited us for a story time in February. Another doggie was there with his person, Bridget, to read their book, so it was like a playdate for us!
The Lady read the book to a group of kids while I watched and helped her turn the pages. After story time, we autographed and pawtographed our book for lots of people.
My friend, Charlotte, a Newfoundland, came to the event. So did a bunch of the Lady’s friends. Email us at margot@murraytails.com if you want us to come to your school, library, or local bookstore.
We’re in Alpha Chi Omega’s The Lyre magazine
Murray and the Lady featured in Alpha Chi Omega’s magazine, The Lyre.
Wow! Alpha Chi Omega’s sorority alumnae magazine, The Lyre, features the Lady and Murray Goes to the Playground. For the Spring 2026 issue, the Editor asked the Lady how she came up with the idea for our book, what it’s like to publish, and how she feels when someone tells her how much the book helped their child deal with bravery, resilience, and making friends.
The Lady is a Founding Sister of Cornell University’s Zeta Phi chapter or Alpha Chi Omega. She served as the chapter’s Facility Advisor (2018 – 2021) and Chapter Advisor (2021 – 2024).
