I’m a Canine Good Citizen
Murray here. The Lady and I went to school and in February 2026 I became a certified Canine Good Citizen. For the test, I had to:
- Sit still while a stranger approached the Lady, pet me, and brushed me,
- Walk nicely through a crowd of other doggies and people,
- Not go crazy when the teach threw toys ALL OVER the classroom,
- Do a Sit, Down, and Stay while the Lady walked away from me, and
- Be a really good boy for a whole 3 minutes with a stranger when the Lady walked away.
I passed and was the bestest boy in the class!

November & December 2025 was BUSY!
Murray here. Wow, the Lady and I have been SO busy that I forgot to let you know what’s been going on. Our message of ‘not everyone will be your friend but there will ALWAYS be someone who will be your friend’ is getting out and it feels great.
November and December were a whirlwind of events for us. We were at Farmer’s Markets and Holiday Markets in Saratoga Springs and Syracuse, NY. Everyone loved meeting me and I had a fantastic time!
In December, we had a story time at Book People Bookstore in Richmond, VA and Village Learning Place in Baltimore.

Murray Here. The Lady and I are super excited because we’ll in Syracuse this weekend selling our MurrayTails book, Murray Goes to the Playground, at the Junior League of Syracuse Holiday Shoppes! There will be more than 50 vendors selling candy, jewelry, crafts, clothing, art, wine, hats, wellness, beauty products, jams and jellies, gifts, and lots of other great products. Come visit and have your photo taken with me. I’ve been practicing my poses.
The Lady has ordered a huge banner with the front cover of our book. And Scot Ritchie, our illustrator, turned some of the pages into coloring book pages for the kids.

The event is at the NYS Fairgrounds, Horticulture Building. Tickets are $8 through November 6th, then $10 at the door. Children under 12 are free!
Hours are:
Friday, November 7th: 12pm – 8pm
